Abstract

The enrollment of students with disabilities in regular schools or classrooms with other students without disabilities has been a concern worldwide.  In this paper, I review paer of the existed literature on the inclusion of students with hearing impairements in regular schools and classrooms. The first part of the paper focuses on the global perspectives o the inclusion of students with disabilities with their peers without disabilities. In the second part of the paper, I review the facilitiating factors that help implementing inclusion for students with hearing impairemants more effective and succuessful. In the last part, the challenges that limit the inclusion of students with hearing impairements are reviewed and discussed.
