Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in contemporary education settings and to identify the pedagogical approaches that enhance teaching and learning experiences. By examining a range of both traditional and advanced pedagogies, the research aimed to discern how these methods are complemented by ICT tools, thereby gauging their effectiveness in the modern educational field. The study's findings, derived from a survey of educational professionals, revealed a significant embrace of ICT tools that facilitate interactive, collaborative, and student-centered learning environments. High usage rates were noted for student response systems, e-books, online libraries, and project management tools, indicating a trend towards digital resources that support active and autonomous learning. Advanced pedagogies like case studies, scenario planning, and group discussions with brainstorming were identified as highly effective, as they were often supported by ICT tools, enhancing engagement and practical skills application. The least utilized were traditional methods such as lecture-based teaching and content-heavy instruction, suggesting a shift towards more innovative and interactive approaches. The convergence of ICT tools and advanced pedagogical techniques represents a significant evolution in education. The results underscore the importance of integrating digital resources to create more effective, engaging, and personalized learning experiences. It is imperative for educational institutions to continue to explore and invest in ICT tools to prepare students for a digital future, fostering skills that align with contemporary workforce demands and promoting lifelong learning habits.
