Abstract

The advent of the next industrial revolution, characterized by advanced technologies such as Automation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and sustainable practices, Presents both challenges and opportunities for cooperatives. This research explores how Cooperatives can effectively leverage these emerging technologies to enhance operational


Efficiency, member engagement, and sustainability while preserving their core values of. The Study examines various sectors—including agricultural, financial, and energy cooperatives using the data base of Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Dimension AI. The inclusion and exclusion criterion has been defined in the paper. This study links key hindrances to technology adoption and proposes strategies to overcome them. It also investigates the role of digital platforms in fostering member participation and decision making and assesses the impact of sustainable practices enabled by new technologies. This research aids to a deeper understanding of the junction between cooperative principles and technological advancement, offering a roadmap for cooperatives to navigate the future industrial landscape effectively.
