Semantic Fields in Ibrahim Touqan's Love Poetry

Abstract

This research examines the semantic fields that emerged in Ibrahim Touqan's love poetry tracing the words and their connotations within the poetic context in an attempt to understand the semantic relationships that connect the semantic fields. This allows for the discovery of the role of semantic fields in highlighting the poet's vision.

The research attempts to uncover the role and importance of semantic fields in the poetic context, as well as the most prominent cultural patterns revealed by tracing the vocabulary of the semantic fields.
