Abstract

In this research, I have examined the intellectual and literary influences that are embodied in the narrative structure of Milan Kundera’s novels, by examining his narrative style, tracing the characters of his novels and their actions, destinies, life situations, and reflections on human values and existential concepts. Milan Kundera appeared to be influenced by existential philosophy, nihilistic thought, and the absurd vision of human life, as well as by great novelists such as Cervantes, Broch, and Kafka, and by French intellectuals such as Diderot.
