Abstract

History of the Indian freedom movement is would be incomplete without hard core efforts of many women freedom fighters. The forfeit made by the women’s of India shall take precedence and remarkable. They face many challenges like exploitations and tortures to make India freedom.  When the majority of the men freedom fighters were imprisoned, the women come forth to lead the battle. Many remarkable women whose names have gone down in the past for their unwavering perseverance to India's service are extensive. The current paper studies various women freedom fighters during independence, role of women in Indian freedom Struggle which helps to understand the impact of women freedom fighters in Indian independence and discusses the various women’s movements during the independence India.
