Abstract

In this study, it was tried to make a situation assessment by analyzing the articles published in the Journal of Educational Administration – Theory and Practice, one of the main publication organs in Turkey within the field of educational administration, between 2003 to 2013 in respect to thematic, methodological and statistical analysis techniques. This study was designed as a methodological evaluation study and conducted on 266 articles published in the Journal of Educational Administration: Theory and Practice between 2003 to 2013. Data collected through document analysis, analyzed by using frequencies and categorical analysis. Findings indicated that themes which were studied in the articles published in the journal of Educational Administration-Theory and Practice focused on a narrow area, survey model was mostly used as a research model, t-test and one way ANOVA were mainly used as statistical data analysis processes.
