Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate teachers’ supervision and guidance expectations about province supervisors’. This research was done qualitative technique of phenomenological design and typical case sampling in order to map the critics and expectations of teachers about province supervisors’ guidance and supervision practices. Research group is consisted of 64 teachers who are teaching of three different cities and they were asked six open ended semi structured comprehensive questions which were created through with educational experts’ approval following to literature researches. Data were exposed to content analysis by two independent researchers and findings were presented as six themes and sub categories. It is concluded that most of the teachers have negative feelings and attitudes about supervisors and their practices in schools. Supervisors should adopt the role of guidance and constructive together with the wish of longer supervision time as a result of the study.
