Democratization of Education in Vietnam

Purpose: The study clarifies the issue of democracy in the field of education, thereby applying theory well into practice to overcome existing limitations and fully promote democracy in education in Vietnam.
Method: The study is based on the theory and methdology of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, and the Communist Party of Vietnam on democracy in education. In the process of approaching the problem, the authors use research methods such as generalization-abstraction; analysis of works; logic - history; analysis-synthesis...
Findings: From analyzing and evaluating the current situation of democratization in education, the study suggests solutions to democratize education in Vietnam today.
Result and Conclusion: This research will help Vietnam be aware of the results and limitations of promoting democratization in education today.
Originality/value: In the era of globalization, international exchange, and integration, education reform is always the top concern of most countries around the world. During the integration process, Vietnam achieved positive results for democracy in education. However, in the field of education, there are still some limitations and inadequacies such as loss of democracy, formal democracy, personal profit from democracy, and violations of the law.
