Abstract

The present study focuses on analysing the impact of pandemic on the academic achievement of pre-service teachers on Online and Offline examinations. Two vital attributes on examinations such as academic achievement scores secured and the attitude of the pre-service teachers through offline and online assessments have been focused in the tool. The main objective of the study is to find out if there exist a drastic variation in the scores scored by the students in the academic achievement through online and offline assessments. The stratification was done on the basis of pre-service teachers –type of institution studied (UG/PG), Course Studied, Offline exam scores, Online exam scores, Attitude towards online and offline examinations during 2019- 2020 or 2020- 2021. The tool used for the present study was constructed by the investigator. The data collected from the sample was analysed using statistical measures and the findings revealed that there was an impact in the academic achievement of pre-service teachers on Online and Offline Examinations
