Abstract

Because anxiety can negatively impact an employee's performance and health, it has become a serious worry in the modern world. Each year, anxiety at work costs an organization billions of dollars in lost productivity due to absenteeism, turnover, and illness. Therefore, to overcome anxiety, it becomes imperative for every center to be aware of the degree of anxiety and its effects on the employee. To determine the amount of anxiety and its effects that pharmacists experience, as well as to provide recommendations for coping with stress, a study on the subject of pharmacist stress was carried out at primary health centers. A well-structured questionnaire with four sections—sociodemographic, employment, physical health, and sources of work pressure—was used to collect the data. MS Office Excel Version 16 was used for analysis. Both the Likert scale and the five-point rating system are used to gauge anxiety levels. The study's findings indicated that the participants exhibited no susceptibility to anxiety/stress. This topic can be studied further while taking into account many additional variables.
