Abstract

The progress of any nation depends on education. Education helps in making humans reach the category of civilized, cultured and capable citizens but it depends on the beliefs and aspirations of the particular society. Even today in India, the whole society is divided into two parts, first is the upper class and second is the lower class. In this way the whole society is limited to two classes only. The lower class has to face financial problems at every step whereas the upper class does not face financial problems. The government's announcement of equal rights for education appears to be just a mere illusion. The success of any student in school subjects depends on his internal qualities. No matter how many languages or how many subjects are taught to the students at the secondary level, the problem of the principal may be whether teachers' seminar should be organized every week, the problem of any teacher may be whether his teaching style is satisfactory. There may be a problem for the student. How to score more marks in mathematics. The possibility of significant difference in the aspiration level, study habits and memory level of the adolescent students of general category and backward class at different levels will be high because the standard of living of the students, family background, family values, home environment, all these are somewhere or the other influencing the students. There are factors capable of bringing about changes at various levels.
