From Vision to Reality: Assessing the Transformational Effects of National Education Policy 2020
Main Article Content
Abstract
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 establishes India's educational transformation through its development of a worldwide standard-based inclusive educational structure that promotes fairness. This research evaluates how the educational sectors have experienced transformative changes between policy vision and practical implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The study conducts qualitative research to assess major instructional innovation and inclusion methods and technology integration along with trade school programs and university education. Interdisciplinary curricula together with inclusivity initiatives and digital learning tools DIKSHA and SWAYAM have marked important implementation achievements based on research evidence. Current difficulties concern substandard infrastructure alongside digital inequity as well as opposition to transformation and uneven resource distribution especially in remote and underprivileged population areas. The research emphasizes that NEP 2020 implementation requires better training of teachers alongside equal resource distribution and continued maintenance of infrastructure to achieve its entire scope. The research recommends that policy leaders working alongside educators need to implement specific barrier solutions and maintain performance assessments in conjunction with community involvement for effective problem resolution. The research demonstrates that effective policy execution requires closing urban-rural disparities plus preparedness transformations for teachers and vocational education programs that match industry requirements to achieve sustained socio-economic effects in India.
