Abstract

The United Nations define human trafficking as the “recruitment, transportation, harbouring or receipt of persons by means of threat or use of other forms of course of attraction of Lord of the section of the abuse of power position of vulnerability of giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person for the purpose of exploitation” (U.S. Department of State, n.d.). Also, trafficking is the second largest and fastest growing criminal industry in the world with as many as 27 million individuals living in slave-like conditions throughout the world”, according to the US Department of State.
