Kingfisher airlines which was one of India’s most prominent airlines had experienced a dramatic rise and an equally dramatic downfall. At first, the airline was associated with luxury services, competitive pricing and an extensive route network but as time went on, more and more strategic failures mounted on the airline which included the consequential merger with the failing airline, Air Deccan. This accompanied by the rise in oil prices as well as the 2008 global financial crisis and high operation cost with excessive unneeded spending by the airline’s founder, Vijay Mallya, expedited the failure of the airline. This paper analyzes the rise and fall of the airline and concludes that a combination of different things such as flawed business strategies and external economic factors led to the eventual collapse of this once industry giant.
2025-06-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10642Cultural Ambivalence And Collective Resistance In Meena Kandasamy’s The Gypsy Goddess2025-08-08T09:56:42+00:00Ms. P. Through her unique postmodern narrative techniques—particularly nonlinear storytelling and direct authorial interventions—Kandasamy not only recreates a historical massacre but also engages readers emotionally and ethically. This paper examines the cultural ambivalence embedded in the novel, especially through the lens of caste and gender oppression. It also explores how Kandasamy’s writing disrupts traditional literary norms to give voice to the silenced and oppressed Dalit communities.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/9934The Enhancement of Learning Management System for Effective Learning: University Students’ Perspective2025-04-30T09:51:32+00:00Chioma Scholastica Ezenniachomzzee@yahoo.co.ukDr Sanjay Ranjeethranjeeths@ukzn.ac.zaDr Joseph Chikwendu EzenniaEzenniaJ@unizulu.ac.za
Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the most significant innovations used to enhance the delivery of educational knowledge to students globally, and this has been enabled by the rapid growth in information technologies. Despite the widespread adoption, numerous studies highlight the need to enhance LMS platforms to better support effective learning, particularly from the perspective of higher education institutions especially the university students who are the primary users. Therefore, this research aims to determine how learning management system (LMS) can be enhanced for effective teaching and learning outcomes. The study employed a qualitative research approach and utilized convenience sampling method to select 25 students at a university. Thematic analysis was employed for data analysis and the four themes that emerged are awareness, user friendly interface, personalized learning and infrastructure. It can be deduced from the findings of the study that for effective learning, it is crucial that the educational officials consider enhancing LMS platforms to align with the student needs by improving usability, personalization, collaboration, infrastructure and institutional support. Policy makers should ensure that all these are taking into consideration for increased engagement, effective teaching and seamless learning outcomes.
2025-05-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10429The Hidden Benefits of Regional Integration2025-07-05T07:15:38+00:00ZAINOU TANGUI Ibrahim Zeidanezainou@gmail.comTENKOUL Abderrahmanta@gmail.com
This article demonstrates on the one hand that there are hidden advantages of regional integration, apart from the advantages known and treated by researchers, who have most essentially emphasized economic and commercial advantages. Thus, using qualitative research methodology methods, including documentary research and analysis (textual, audiovisual), non-participant observation or even observation, this article carries out a constructive analysis which results in hidden or unknown advantages of regional integration. These hidden advantages are in the interest of member countries of the same organization, of the same regional community and in the interest of their citizens like ECOWAS or NATO. Of these hidden advantages, we retain the protection of democratic regimes and citizens of the countries of the community guaranteed by the regional community; the means of overcoming the challenges related to natural insecurity; the feeling of belonging to a powerful regional community and the means of deterrence against possible aggression; and finally, the means of tending towards a cultural, racial and ethnic mixing. These hidden advantages align with the known advantages that have been the subject of several studies, such as the sharing of a common currency, the easy movement of goods and people, a common market or the exemption of taxes and customs duties between member states of the same community as that which brings together West African countries. On the other hand, this present article suggests reasons and motivations justifying regional integration that is easy so that certain countries, even due to certain circumstances and certain considerations, can integrate a Regional Community to which they aspire to be members.
2025-02-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10126Institutionalizing Governance in Saudi Higher Education: Focus on Strategic Excellence and NCAAA Accreditation Resilience2025-05-26T04:32:13+00:00Aida NefziNefzi@utad.pt
This opinion paper promotes establishing governance and compliance offices within Saudi universities, which could be an enabling factor that can achieve institutional accreditation resilience and operational excellence and promote grievance handling where needed. As Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 drives transformational changes across most public institutions, higher education entities are also required to align their governance practices to the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA). Based on more than 10 years of work in quality assurance and accreditation, the author makes a strong argument for having Offices of Governance and Compliance serve these institutions like an umbrella to help with institutional policy, accountability, and strategic alignment. Not only do these offices strengthen transparency and decision-making, but they also play a direct role in NCAAA accreditation preparedness – built on a foundation of structured internal quality assurance systems, risk management, and integrity frameworks. However, obstacles like resistance to change and limited resources remain but can be addressed through focused training and digitization. It is critical that we start to view governance as a strategy, not a tick-the-box process. Such offices are scalable models for resilient, future-fit universities ready to deliver against the demands of 21st- century education in alignment with national and global quality standards.
2025-05-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10579Socio-cultural Characteristics of the Naga Tribes in Sivasagar District, Assam: An Ethnographic Study2025-07-29T04:53:55+00:00Dr. Jitu Saikiahfssg@gmail.com
Among the various ethnic groups of Assam, the Nagas also find a very prominent place. Tracing anthropological history, it is seen that the Nagas belong to the China-Tibetan family covering a large part of the North Eastern region of India. In fact, years back some clans of the Nagas living in Nagaland came to Assam in search of home for good. As such, some descendants of the three significant Naga tribes namely Konyak, Ao and Phom have permanently settled in Sivasagar District of Assam. Since then the Konyak Nagas have been living in Hanhchara Naga Gaon, Gargaon and Bhadhara Gaon whereas all the remaining migrated Naga tribes – Konyak, Ao and Phom – have been living in Namsai, Ligiri Pukhuri and Hatipatty Monaiting adjacent to Gelakey. Interestingly, the Konyak Nagas living in Hanhchara, Gargaon and Bhadhara are the followers of the religious practice, Neo-Vaishnavism (Ek Saran Naam Dharma), initiated by the saint and reformer Srimanta Sankardeva. The Nagas living in Namsai, Ligiri Pukhuri and Monaiting also left their cultural traits of their forefathers and adopted Christianity. Globalization has brought forth a change in the living and cultural traits of the Nagas in Assam. Although the Nagas of Namsai, Ligiri Pukhuri and Monaiting, under the influence of Christianity, have lost their cultural nativity, the Nagas of Hanchara, Gargaon and Bhadhara, in contrast, are still sticking to their native cultures amidst huge challenges. With a field study, a humble attempt is made to present the true picture of the socio-cultural life of the Nagas of the district of Sivasagar.
2025-07-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/9706Ecosystem and Its Geographical Effects on the Marshes of Southern Iraq (An Analytical Study)2025-04-04T06:59:32+00:00Qasim Shaker Mahmoud Al-Falahiqasim.sh.mahmood@almamonuc.edu.iqProfessor Dr Luay Taha Mohammad RasheedLuay.t.mohammed@almamonuc.edu.iqSarab Hamed HyderSarab.h.hyder@almamonuc.edu.iq
It seems that the ecosystem of the marshes of southern Iraq has been exposed to fundamental changes in its various elements, and this is due to two factors, natural and human, as the continuous rise in temperatures has led to an increase in the amount of evaporation and the intensity of the demand for water, which led to both Syria and Iran building dams to store water at the sources to reduce the amount of water coming to Iraq from the two rivers, which is considered the most important reason for not submerging areas of the marshes whose features were visible on the map in the seventies and eighties of the last century, as in the central marshes. On the other hand, the region was exposed to the application of the idea of the old project that called for drying up the marshes by cutting off all sources of water supply coming to them, especially the Hawizeh and Hammar marshes, which are the largest marshes in Iraq in terms of area, so that those areas would turn into exposed lands devoid of any plant, animal or human presence.

The combination of these two factors led to the dismantling of the ecosystem of this region, and the situation continued until after April 9, 2003, when the residents tried to re-flood the marshes again after the dams were broken to open the feeding channels.
2025-05-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10324Tax Audit in the Digital Age: A Systematic Review of The Literature2025-06-19T20:11:51+00:00Mamouni Rimrim.mamouni@usmba.ac.maProf. Dr. Abdellaoui Mohammedmohammed.abdelaoui@usmba.ac.ma
OBJECTIVE: This study endeavors to comprehensively examine the existing body of the recent literature concerning audit and taxation within the context of emerging technologies while also delineating a potential path for future research.

METHOD: Employing a systematic literature approach, this investigation blends bibliometric and content analysis techniques to scrutinize a dataset consisting of 121 pertinent articles published in English within Scopus-indexed journals over the past 13 years. In an economic environment characterized by dollarization, fiscal pressure, and the need to protect domestic industry, tariffs have become a tool of commercial control. However, their application has led to increased production costs, disruptions in supply chains, and a decline in the competitiveness of Ecuadorian firms (Ortiz & Cueva, 2021). In response to this scenario, organizations have had to adopt various strategies to mitigate these impacts and maintain market operations. This article analyzes the main business strategies currently being applied in Ecuador to counter the effects of tariffs, based on a qualitative approach supported by document analysis of official sources and sectoral studies. Identified actions include supplier diversification, import substitution through domestic production, process digitalization, and logistics optimization (Zambrano & Cedeño, 2023). The findings reveal that companies implementing adaptive strategies are able to sustain profitability and competitiveness, although they require technical support and coherent public policies. This analysis not only helps to understand business responses to current trade challenges, but also offers recommendations for the formulation of economic policies that strike a better balance between tariff protection and business dynamism.
2025-09-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10115The Effect of Customer Experience on Brand Image Through Customer Satisfaction: An individual-based Perspective of the Egyptian healthcare industry2025-05-22T20:20:32+00:00ghada nadaghada.nada1001@gmail.comProf. Dr. Passent TantawiPitantawi@aast.eduProf.Dr. Mohamed A. This study aims to analyze pedagogical strategies and inclusive models implemented in Latin American schools, with an emphasis on their contribution to the right to equitable education. A qualitative exploratory methodology is adopted, based on a systematic review of academic literature from 2018 to 2025, complemented by semi-structured interviews with teachers and pedagogical coordinators. As Díaz-Barriga (2020) states, transforming the educational system requires differentiated teaching approaches that respond to classroom diversity. The study seeks to identify successful practices such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Response to Intervention (RTI), which enhance school retention and academic performance for students with specific educational needs (Moya & Ortega, 2019). It also aims to highlight the positive impact of continuous teacher training and institutional support as key pillars for sustainable inclusive policies. In summary, this study contributes to academic reflection and the formulation of proposals that strengthen regulatory frameworks and inclusive school practices, as promoted by UNESCO (2023) in its recent guidelines on inclusive education.
2025-09-05T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10025The Psychological Composition of The Customer and Its Impact on The Marketing Activity in Iraqi Commercial Companies2025-05-14T05:31:43+00:00Muaamar Aqeel Obaidhfssg@gmail.comMouna Damak Turkihfssg@gmail.com
Many countries, institutions, and organizations place a significant emphasis on public relations activities. Students face challenges because of socio-economic conditions, lack of academic help, or inadequate preparation, this can lead to poor performance, repeated failures, or even withdrawal from their studies. Educational institutions very often struggle with effectively allocating resources to support these students, which makes data-driven approaches critical for performance analysis of students. This paper presents Algometrics, a web-based application that leverages machine learning and data analytics to predict student performance considering multiple permutations and combinations of academic and socio-economic factors. The tool processes datasets containing parameters such as race/ethnicity, parental level of education, families’ monthly/annual income, gender, and individual subject scores in mathematics, reading and writing. The system has predictive modeling and integrated interactive visualizations, providing educators with insights into the performance trends of students enabling data-driven interventions. The integrated dashboard provides multiple analytical charts such as correlation heatmaps, score distribution trends, and demographic and socio-economic conditions in shaping student success. Algometrics assists institutions in identifying students at risk of failing or dropping out and underperforming through a scientific and data-driven approach. Thus, enabling targeted interventions, personalized learning strategies, and improved resource allocation.
2025-06-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10660Effect of Corporate Governance on The Performance of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria2025-08-13T06:06:42+00:00EGWU, SUNDAY ELE-OJOsundayegwueleojo32@gmail.comSUCCESS JIBRIN MUSAmusas@veritas.edu.ngMATHIAS OFILIOfili.u@nileuniversity.edu.ngITODO SIMONitodoj@veritas.edu.ng
This study investigated the effects of corporate governance on the performance of listed deposit money banks in Nigeria. The data obtained were processed and preliminary tests such as descriptive statistics, normality test, heteroskedasticity test, variance inflation factor and correlational matrix were conducted to ascertain the validity and reliability of the data collected. Multiple regressions were such as Generalised Least Square, Random Effect and Fixed Effects regressions were conducted and husman test was conducted to opt between the random and fixed effect model. The result from the regression result disclosed that gender diversity, board size, CEO duality and audit committee positively and significantly affect the performance of the sampled listed deposit money banks in Nigeria. The study concluded that corporate governance attributes positively and significantly affects the value of deposit money banks in Nigeria. The study made several recommendations amongst others that the composition of board members should be more of Nonexecutive directors as this would enhance board independence and invariably leads to proper monitoring and management discipline. Also, a large board increases the chance of directors having appropriate knowledge, skill and networks. The knowledge, skill and networks of directors may increase the financial performance of an organization.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/9950Communication Conflicts Between Teachers and Administrators2025-05-02T08:16:45+00:00Meltem Ökdemmeltemokdem@yahoo.com
The communication, as a factor uniting people and enabling them to act together, needs to be used functionally in educational organizations consisting of people who have come together to achieve a certain goal. It is important to have two-way communication between administrators and teachers in schools. For more effective and quality service in schools, good communication between administrators and teachers should be established. Achieving the desired goals will be difficult in schools where effective communication cannot be established. This is a qualitative study on the problems teachers face while communicating with school principals. The subject of the research will be the stories of teachers about the problems they experience in their communication with school principals. The study group of the research consists of teachers working in Yenimahalle district of Ankara province. After the collected stories were transcribed in computer environment (data transcription), descriptive analysis of the data was conducted. For the validity of the data analysis, the stories told by the participants were kept as they were, the consistency of the codes and subcategories with the stories told by the participants was observed, and some stories were directly quoted.

The findings of this study show that the difference in status poses a problem in the communication between teachers and administrators and that teachers express that administrators misperceive them. According to the study, theteachers and administrators have communication problems due to lack of empathy. In order to solve these problems, it is recommended to provide training to improve empathy skills, and to use clear expressions in response to misunderstandings and misunderstandings of administrators and teachers.
2025-05-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10482Meter Asset Providers' Adoption of Ifrs for Smes in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry2025-07-13T13:57:19+00:00Celestine Chukwutem Ebogbuecelestineebogbue@yahoo.co.ukLucky Otsoge Onmonyalucky.onmonya@nileuniversity.edu.ngAbraham Momoh Idoghomomohidogho@yahoo.comYemisi Funmilayo Bosun-Fakunlebosunfakunle.yemisi@ioukada.edu.ng
Financial reporting has been an avenue for good accountability of an organisation, in which small and medium-scale enterprises cannot be left out, for standard representation and disclosures. Even with the right management system in place, many opportunities exist to improve the system’s sustainability. This investigation aims at the integration of ISO 14001 EMS in the construction industry, which is an expression of its international recognition as an environmental management standard. In so doing, this study reveals the effectiveness of ISO 14001 in environmental standards as well as the underlying motivations and barriers to the incorporation of this standard in construction businesses. This research is important because it provides practical guidance to construction organizations and policy leaders on how to maintain environmentally conscious practices. The study adopts a mixed approach of surveys and interviews to construction firms adopting ISO 14001. Cost, complexity, and resistance are the central barriers, and compliance and client demand are the essential drivers. Additionally, companies that implemented ISO 14001 showed a huge increase in energy consumption, waste management as well and carbon emissions. This study highlights the need for the use of ISO 14001 as a tool towards sustainable construction practices and provides practical recommendations for overcoming the identified barriers. It also points to the need for more research on the implementation experiences of non-certified firms and the role played by emerging technologies in the operations of ISO 14001.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10635Board Size and Performance of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria2025-08-08T05:15:39+00:00EGWU, SUNDAY ELE-OJOsundayegwueleojo32@gmail.comSUCCESS JIBRIN MUSAmusas@veritas.edu.ngMATHIAS OFILIOfili.u@nileuniversity.edu.ngSIMON ODIBA PAULOdibasimon1@gmail.com
The study investigates the effect of board size on performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria and used ex-post facto research design. It is worrisome that children experiencing emotional problems such as interpersonal insensitivity, aggression and hostility often fail to achieve academically at levels expected of individual with their intellectual ability and are usually unable to establish the necessary interpersonal relationships necessary for their effective social functioning. This study therefore examined the effects of emotionally focused counselling and lifestyle skills training on the emotional problems of senior secondary school students in Anambra State, Nigeria. The emotional problems investigated were hostility, social maladjustment and interpersonal insensitivity of the participants. Quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group design was adopted for the study. The final sample size was made up of 129 participants consisting of 77 male and 52 female students in senior secondary one (SS1) class who reported experiencing at least one or more problems of hostility, social maladjustment and interpersonal insensitivity. The relevant data were generated using the Liking People Scale (LPS), Social Maladjustment Scale (SMS) and Automatic Thought Questionnaire (ATQ). Findings show that Emotionally Focused Counselling (EFC) and Lifestyle Skills Training (LST) had significant effect in reducing hostility and social maladjustment as well as improving the interpersonal sensitivity of the senior secondary school students. It also revealed that EFC and LST was effective in enhancing the emotional growth of the students. However, the interaction effect of experimental conditions and gender on all the dependent measures (hostility, social maladjustment and interpersonal insensitivity) were not statistically significant. It was recommended that in order to reduce the problems leading to the experience of hostility, social maladjustment and interpersonal insensitivity, the sources of the problem should first be isolated to allow the counsellors design appropriate psycho-educational programmes utilizing emotionally focused counselling and lifestyle skills training to ameliorate the problems and mitigate their symptoms and consequences.
2025-05-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10352Smartphone Integration as an M-Learning Tool for Educators at Secondary Schools in Kwazulu-Natal Province2025-06-24T10:35:05+00:00Sello MokoenaMokoenaS@unizulu.ac.zaDr Joseph Chikwendu EzenniaEzenniaJ@unizulu.ac.za
Smartphones have become essential and integral part of our daily lives and have been recognised as the driving factor for teaching and learning in secondary schools because of the changes that technology has brought into educational sphere and life at large. Whereas studies of early modern Sufi autobiography often foreground literary strategies of humility and authority, this study shifts attention to the apparatus by which sanctity is mapped, classified, and transmitted. First, the al-ʿAlamī genealogical chart is read as a double register: nasab (biological descent) and silsila (custodianship), each anchoring Jerusalemite authority within a Maghribi lineage that reaches back to ʿAbd al-Salām b. Mashīsh. Second, the text’s itineraries are analyzed as cartographies of baraka, linking Jerusalem with Damascus, Qaṭanā, Sidon, and Mecca, while comparative reading with Abū Sālim al-ʿAyāshī’s Riḥla highlights converging Levantine–Ḥijāzī circuits of sanctity. Third, the article considers indices of persons, places, and terms not merely as editorial tools but as epistemic instruments that structure memory and authority, continuing medieval practices of fahrasa and thabat. Methodologically, the study uses a single manuscript witness and one external corroborator (al-ʿAyāshī) and treats paratext—colophon, itinerary, indexing—as positive evidence of curated sanctity. Together, these apparatuses show that Maʿālim al-Taṣdīq was not only autobiography but also archive: a work that preserved Palestinian Sufi experience by encoding it into genealogical, geographical, and lexical maps. More broadly, early modern Jerusalem emerges not merely as a node of devotion but as a center of knowledge organization in the Ottoman Sufi world, offering a replicable method for reading paratext as evidence in Islamic intellectual history.
2025-09-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Educational Administration: Theory and Practicehttps://www.kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/10120Effects Of Sand and Land Surface Training on Motor Fitness: A Comparative Analysis2025-05-24T04:44:58+00:00Surendra Meenasabinakhatun7826@gmail.comPrabhu Dayal Beniwalsabinakhatun7826@gmail.com
The present study was conducted with the purpose to investigate and compare the effects of physical training on sand and land surface on selected components of motor fitness. Financial inclusion was measured using two indicators: the first is the banking outreach indicator (number of commercial bank branches per 100,000 adults), and the second is the financial services indicator (number of borrowers from commercial banks per 1,000 adults). Economic growth was measured by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant US dollar prices. Using a set of econometric approaches and tools and relying on the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) methodology, the study found a long-run equilibrium relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth. Pre-learning skills like sitting tolerance, attention ,joint attention, sustained attention, eye contact, eye gaze, and compliance are necessary for academic readiness and social communication later in life. The study aimed to find out how the importance of these early abilities relate to broader child development milestones.

50 toddlers from Wakad, Pune, were assessed using two standardized tools. The Pre-learning Behaviour Checklist was administered to calculate each child’s Pre-learning Skills (PLS) score. Then, the ComDEALL Child Development Checklist (CDCC) was administered to evaluate various domains of development including gross motor skills, Fine Motor skills, Activities of daily Living, Receptive language ,Expressive Language , Cognitive domain, emotional domain and social development domain.

The results demonstrated a positive correlation (r = 0.718) between prelearning skills and child development. This demonstrates that Toddlers who possess adequate pre-learning skills are more likely to show good development across multiple child development domainsGM,FM,ADL,RL,El,COG,SOC,EM). In simple terms, Toddlers who have better Sitting Tolerance ,Attention ,Joint attention ,Command following tend to move forward in their journey of covering developmental milestones.

The study brings into light the important role that pre-learning skills play in providing a base for a child’s future learning and growth.
