This study aims to examine teachers' views on Family Education Programmes for Special Education. The sample of the data included 25 teachers working as Special Education Teachers in the 2023-2024 academic year. The study’s data were collected through the Semi-structured Interview Method, one of the qualitative data collection techniques. Content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques were used to analyze the interview data. Results based on the findings of the research show that the existing family education programmes in Turkey are inadequate. Because of this shortcoming highlighted by special education teachers, it was noted that family participation in family education programmes has been negatively affected. In addition, in family education programmes for parents of students with special needs in Turkey, it is seen that descriptive narratives are widely included. At the same time, the content for applications remains limited. It is highlighted that family education plans should be developed and implemented.
